Avi is a landscaping artist and expert in tropical plants. He firmly believes that natural spaces, filled with plants with their unspoken wisdom, hold the power to evoke peace, enlightenment, and joy. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to plant care, Avi ensures the long-term health and vitality of every plant he installs. His extensive knowledge of plant care allows him to educate clients on how to nurture and maintain their gardens. Avi understands that each plant in a design has its rightful place in the garden, and he works harmoniously with the natural elements of the property to create an environment where every plant can thrive.

“Avi Nizar and his crew with Maui Landscape Design were awesome! The first thing I noticed with Avi was how precise and detail oriented he was in every aspect of his process. He listened to what we wanted, made suggestions and then executed his passionate and creative plan of action. I was impressed with his knowledge of what type of plants would grow best in different types of areas based on direct sunlight, shadowed areas and air temperature. I also had concerns with our irrigation system. He discovered several problematic areas but was able to work with our existing system, adapt it for our new landscape design and walked me through the changes. Avi answered all of our questions and patiently explained everything in detail at a level we could understand. I was amazed how physically hard his crew was working each day. They brought in large rocks by hand to create a border feature for all of our planter areas. The rocks added an extra touch of dimension and color. “I’ve been wanting to update my back yard for a couple of years. I didn’t know what I was looking for, even tried to do it by myself. I saw a cool front yard in Sprecks and was lucky enough to run into the owner who told me about Maui Landscape Design and Avi in particular. Now, Just so you understand, this is not a typical contractor to customer process, it's more of a boutique business to customer. There's a process, first, they sent me to see more places so I could get a sense of other projects they've done. After we agreed on the game plan there was a serious clean up. Then they brought tons of plants so I could choose from. Then they plant while I was there (optional ;) so I could see it while it's happening, and you can change your mind right away. I even changed my mind a couple days after and they replaced few plants with something else with no drama. This was a night and day experience. P.S. in one of my sites visits, one of the owners of a property told me she was crying when she got home from vacation after they finished her yard.”
